[EPP] Expandiertes Polypropylen

Extremely sensitive products and their equally sensitive surfaces are protected by a modern foam material called EPP. This is expanded polypropylene, which forms a closed-cell structure that provides very good protection against moisture.

Easily recognizable and easy to process, thermoplastic EPP foam. The closed-cell material structure provides high structural strength and excellent energy absorption. This durable particle foam is also highly temperature-resistant and ultra-light in weight handling. Sensitive products are optimally protected by the detailed contours in the inserts (see picture).

A durable reusable system for automated packaging cases! Expanded polypropylene (EPP) load carriers by DE-PACK protect painted, polished or further highly sensitive components, especially in the automotive industry. The components are fitted precisely into the carrier, so they are optimally protected from damage. The load carriers themselves, thanks to their sturdiness and durability, can be reused multiple times.

EPP foam is a real problem solver for the most demanding packaging solutions. The material can be processed well, is reusable, ultralight and absorbs hardly any moisture. The illustration shows an EPP board that can hold narrow products, for example glass panes, circuit boards and many more. The shock-absorbing effect of the material provides optimum protection during transport.

Molded parts made of expanded polypropylene (EPP) are also frequently used for electrical and sanitary applications. EPP is an elastic, closed-cell and thermoplastic foam characterized by its very good mechanical insulating properties. For example, the material can be used for pump housings.

The illustration shows a moulden part made of expanded polypropylene (EPP) with attached stacking lugs that provide accurate positioning of additional parts. EPP is a material with a very high strength-to-weight ratio and is an excellent thermal insulator. These moulded parts can therefore be used for heat-insulatiion or also for protective components in vehicles as well as for transport protection packaging.

The illustration shows a reusable packaging solution for highly sensitive products, in this case housing components with surfaces that need to be protected. DE-PACK load carriers made of expandable polypropylene are primarily used in intralogistics or transport, as this often involves repetitive processes, e.g. for model series in the automotive industry. After the stackable load carriers have been loaded with housing parts, they can be transported to the customer and returned again.

The illustration shows stacked transport trays made of EPP intended for holding and transporting camshafts. The trays can be used to transport numerous workpieces safely to the various stations in a production chain. The durable EPP trays have established themselves almost without competition, particularly in the automotive industry.

DE-PACK insulating boxes or containers are made of resistant EPP (expandable polypropylene). The containers are durable and lightweight and are designed for the transport of temperature-sensitive goods. They are very light and shine with their extreme resistance to breakage and impact as well as their long service life. The insulating boxes can be used in the temperature range from -40 °C to +110 °C.

DE-PACK load carriers are always manufactured precisely to fit the specific characteristics and dimensional specifications of the parts to be transported. These packaging solutions are lightweight, yet incredibly strong and durable.
